The Marble Globe, approximately 3” in diameter, features continents color-filled in gold and a flattened bottom for stability. Due to the tight curvature, etching areas are very restrictive. Accordingly, artwork should not include fine detail or text: the simpler and bolder the artwork, the better the etching result. If etching of detailed art is required, shifting the art to an optional etched base is highly recommended. As this is natural marble, exact color shade and veining will vary from piece to piece.
